Yes, it's nearly two thirds of the way through January, and I'm late in posting to the new year, but that's no surprise to you, given my posting history over the past couple of years. I'm still a work in progress, and I'm truly hoping to get myself back into a weekly groove here, as I love writing and sharing here. (I'm just a tad bit disorganized, and my mind is usually going a mile a minute with project ideas and then oftentimes work gets in my way....) Am I really the only person left on the planet that likes to send paper invites to events? (I am pretty sure I am.) While I appreciate the efficiency of electronic reminders and having appointments and such magically show up on my iPhone calendar, I am always charmed by a thoughtfully crafted invitation. I whipped these up on my computer and then decided to print on the envelopes as well. (Time and a watchful eyeball on the weather reports will tell if I am going to need to follow this invite up with a group text to say, "Just kidding, we will be eating inside!")
